In room 11 we wanted to know what bug/insects have wings and what ones don't! To do this we needed to compare them. We decided that to compare something it means to look at the similarities and differences. Here is us learning to use a venn diagram to compare.

Room 11's Bug Hunt
In the morning of Wednesday 16th May room 11 came into class to find a special letter on the board from a Nature Detective named Denzel. He needed our help to find some minibeasts and insects in our school.
So we went out into the garden to find some. we had to write down what we saw and take pictures so we could use them later.
We found lots of things. Have a look!
We Miss E printed of the photos and we had to write about the insects we found.
e.g.
- What color is it?
- How many legs does it have?
- How big is it compared to a 20c coin?
- Does it have wings?
- Where did you find it?
- How does it move?
- Is it eating anything?

rules, instructions or directions. In order for us to better understand computer algorithms we decided
to go out and do some orienteering exercises. This turned out to be so much of fun and we learnt a
lot about giving correct and clear instructions in order to achieve our tasks.
